Jam has been with DJ ever since, well, a long time ago. A bit of a lazy, he likes to fall asleep quite often. And boy can he snore. There have been a couple instances where DJ's made the mistake of leaving Jam out of his Pokéball and has either collapsed buildings or set off some sort landslide. His love of sleep is only rivaled by his love of food.

The newest addition to DJ's team, Boogie was found as an egg on Mt. Moon. Jive had snagged her egg from a bunch of Clefairy eggs. The tour ended up with a flock of angry Zubats chasing DJ's tour group out of the mountain. A bit of a spoiled princess, she knows that she's cute and uses it against others. She sort of "imprinted" on Jive and follows him around a lot, thinking he's her dad. Affectionately referred to as "Booger" or "Boog."

DJ acquired Jive a few years back, when xe first started doing adventure tours. Jive has a bad habit of getting into things he shouldn't. If it looks the least bit interesting, Jive will probably try licking it. He doesn't necessarily want to play with it
